To appear at the Rehoboth Beach Jewish Film Festival
The Rehoboth Beach Film Society has confirmed Heather Dune Macadam, acclaimed author of “Rena’s Promise: A Story of Sisters in Auschwitz” to attend the screening of her film “999: The Forgotten Girls,” on Saturday, April 13 at 8:00 PM. Macadam will be on-hand for a book signing of “999: The Extraordinary Young Women of the First Official Jewish Transport to Auschwitz.” Ticket holders will have the opportunity to engage in a post-panel discussion with the Macadam.
On Sunday, April 14 at 2:00 PM, Heather Dune Macadam will return to the Jewish Film Festival to participate in a 2nd screening, “The Story of Annette Zelman,” which inspired her second book, “Star Crossed: A True WWII Romeo and Juliet Love Story in Hitler’s Paris,” based on the life of Annette Zelman.

OTHER TALENT – Producer, Lex Gillespie will host a live post-panel discussion about his film “The Catskills.” This screening will close out the Film Festival on Sunday, April 14 at 5:00 PM.
RECEPTIONS have been added for this year’s Jewish Film Festival. A Welcome reception is confirmed for Wednesday, April 10 at 5:30 PM. Ticket holders attending the 4:00 and/or 7:00 PM screenings are invited. A final Closing reception is confirmed for Sunday, April 14 at 3:45 PM. Attendees for Sunday’s screenings at 2:00 PM and/or 5:00 PM are invited. Both receptions will be held in the CAT Lobby.
The 9th annual Rehoboth Beach Jewish Film Festival (JFF), April 10 – 14, 2024 at the Cinema Art Theater (CAT) in Lewes, is a five-day film festival opened to the public and society members. This year’s festival program will have a selection of eleven films from documentaries and features to foreign titles.
