33rd ANNUAL LEWES GARDEN TOUR ON JUNE 15, 2024

The Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau sponsors its 33rd annual Lewes Garden Tour on Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are seven private gardens on the tour this year. Tickets are available for sale now and can be paid for online and picked up at the Lewes Chamber of Commerce/Visitor Center located in the Fisher-Martin House.  The address for the Visitor Center is 120 Kings Highway and it’s located next to the Zwaanendael Museum. The ticket is a booklet containing a map of the locations of all the gardens as well as descriptions of them.

The gardens are selected by the event committee’s co-chairs with assistance from other members of the committee. This year’s committee members are Co-Chairs: Pam Rankin & Carolyn Marshall; Program Garden Descriptions: Susan Crawford; and Volunteer Coordinator: Terry Yates.

In addition to touring the gardens, the event includes a Garden Market in Zwaanendael Park with vendors selling garden-related items during the hours of the tour (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.) and the Pretzelvania food truck on Kings Highway, adjacent to Zwaanendael Park, from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. selling lunch and cold beverages.

Tickets for the tour of gardens on Saturday, June 15 are $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the tour. Purchase tickets online at this link: LewesChamber.com and the tickets can be picked up at the chamber’s visitor center. Or you can  purchase them in person at the Visitor Center during the open hours (Monday–Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.). Payment options for in-person tickets include cash, credit cards and checks made out to the Lewes Chamber of Commerce.
