Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater presents the biographical drama Love & Mercy, opening on Friday, June 20,

In the late 1960s, the Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson stops touring, produces “Pet Sounds” and begins to lose his grip on reality. By the 1980s, Wilson (John Cusack), under the sway of a controlling therapist (Paul Giamatti), finds a savior in Melinda Ledbetter (Elizabeth Banks). The film was named after one of Wilson’s songs and also includes among others actor Paul Dano. [2014, 120 min, US, Rating: NR]

Screening times are 3:30 pm on Fri (June 20), 5:30 pm on Sat (June 21), 1:30 pm on Wed (June 25) and 3:45pm on Thu (June 26). Admission is $9 for members, $11.50 for general audiences and $5 for students (student tickets available only at the theater box office).
