Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater presents the fascinating fantasy drama The Life of Chuck, opening on July 12.

The Life of Chuck is written and directed by Mike Flanagan. It is based on the novella of the same name by Stephen King, which was published in his 2020 compilation book If It Bleeds. The film stars, among others, Tom Hiddleston, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mark Hamill, with narration by Nick Offerman. The film follows the formative moments in the life of Charles “Chuck” Krantz (Hiddleston), chronicled in reverse chronological order, from his death coinciding with the end of the universe to his childhood.

Screening times are 8:15 pm on Sat (July 12), 5 pm on Sun (July 13) , 3 pm on Wed (July 16) and 3 pm on Thu (July 17). Admission is $9 for members, $11.50 for general audiences and $5 for students (student tickets available only at the theater box office).
