On Tuesday, November 11th, the Sussex Preservation Coalition will host as our guest speaker, Dr. Donald Moore III. Don is a lover of nature and watery places. He is a renowned species biologist, as well as a population and habitat biologist working on “World Conservation Union Red List” and zoo-based conservation.

Don will discuss species diversity and its ecological role in Delaware, including the “One Health” model of humans-wildlife-environment. What is the future for wildlife if overdevelopment and climate change threats continue to grow? He’ll cover how and why we need to conserve wildlife habitat for the resilience of human communities.
