A Public Interview with Matthew Ritter, DNREC Division of Parks & Recreation
The Shine a Light public forum series continues with an in-depth conversation featuring Matthew Ritter, Director of the DNREC Division of Parks and Recreation. This program is designed to increase transparency and public understanding of how city, county, and state governments operate.
Mr. Ritter oversees more than 20,000 acres across 17 Delaware state parks, including Cape Henlopen State Park. He has served with DNREC for 18 years, most recently as an environmental program administrator within the Division of Parks and Recreation.
Questions will be posed by Bill Shull of Cape Gazette and Madeleine Overturf of Coast TV News, followed by an audience Q&A. The program will be introduced and moderated by Sally Boswell, board member of Preserve Our Park. The Shine a Light series was founded by Ronald Collins.
