Delaware Defense Day at Fort Miles Museum
Join us in honoring the defenders of the home front at Fort Miles, who safeguarded coastal Delaware during World War II. Discover their inspiring stories at our annual living history event, Delaware Defense Day, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 26th. The event features more than 100 living history reenactors dressed in period uniforms representing the soldiers who served at Fort Miles during and after WWII. There will be artillery demonstrations, insightful guest speakers, over 25 period vehicles, including a Sherman M4A4 tank. live music, and much more. Admission to the Fort Miles Museum will be $6 per person.
