Cape Artists Gallery of Lewes


a painting of a sunset over a lake The Cape Artists have been a presence in the Lewes, Delaware and a painting of a bird standing on a rocksurrounding area for over thirty years. The group was formed in 1984 after the artists met under the tutelage of well-known artist Howard Schroeder. They continued to paint together as a group after his classes ended. The Cape Artists paint together every Tuesday in Lewes and members are frequently seen painting on location throughout the area.

The artists’ work will be exhibited at Lewes Public Library July 1 – 31 and can be viewed during regular library hours. The library is located at 111 Adams Ave. And in November, it will be exhibited at The Moorings at Lewes.
