Conservation Strategies, LLC

Rich Innes is the Founder and Principal of Conservation Strategies, LLC. For more than two decades Conservation Strategies LLC has been instrumental to achieving critical conservation goals for groups such as:

– The Association of National Estuary Programs, where Rich serves as Senior Policy Advisor
– The Nature Conservancy, Where Rich has worked directly with its National Office and currently is the Vice Chair of its Trustee Board TNC DE and PA.
– The National Environmental Education Foundation
– The Garden Club of America
– The National Wildlife Federation
– The Joint Ocean Commission Initiative

Rich was Director of Government Affairs for BFI under then CEO and Former EPA Administrator Bill Ruckelshaus. He served on the staff of the US Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works assisting Committee Chair Senator John Chafee in passage of landmark legislation including the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act. He is a returned Peace Corps Volunteer.
