The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park (FOCHSP) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization committed to preserving, enhancing, and promoting the natural beauty and rich history of Cape Henlopen State Park.

In partnership with the Delaware Division of Parks and Recreation, we strive to foster community engagement, support park programs, and advocate for the protection and stewardship of this treasured public space. Through volunteer efforts, fundraising, and educational outreach, FOCHSP works to ensure that future generations can experience the park’s exceptional ecological and recreational offerings.

+ Park Enhancement and Maintenance
+ Native Plant Gardens for Pollinators and Monarch Butterflies
+ Live Bird Cameras
+ Disc Golf
+ Beach Access Mats and Beach Accessible Wheelchairs, and
+ Grants to Regional Schools for Trips to the Park for
Environmental Education.
