What’s Fresh at the Historic Lewes Farmers Market

Strawberry season is in full swing at the Historic Lewes Farmers Market this Saturday, May 16th!a couple of people standing next to a table full of strawberries Customers can plan menus of strawberry shortcake, strawberry pie, strawberry smoothies, and all things strawberry from fresh, local berries found at the Market. Our 37 local farmers and producers will also bring rhubarb, asparagus, radishes, beets, turnips, kale, hydroponic and field lettuces, arugula, herbs, bok choy, microgreens, eggs, coffee, cold-pressed juices, kombucha, beef, pork, chicken, lamb, oysters, crab, mushrooms, freeze-dried local fruits and veggies, cut-flowers, hanging flower baskets, veggie and herb plants, fresh breads and pastries, jams, honey, and much more!

The HLFM is unique in that it is producer-only—customers connect directly with the farmer who grew the produce and raised the animals to buy their local fruit, veggies, eggs, and meats. This Market is where the farmers are—the most farmers in any farmers market in the Delmarva!
