National Train Day, Saturday, May 9

National Train Day 2026 will be on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Lewes Junction. It is celebrated on the second Saturday in May to commemorate the anniversary of the Golden Spike that completed the first transcontinental railroad in the United States.
