Resource Center, Love INC, and the Lewes Public Library. In all, $12,000.00 was donated for
this giving campaign.

statewide through a network of partners. Food is easily accessible from local food closets, mobile
pantries and schools. At the same time, they help individuals and families gain long-term
financial stability by providing job training, nutrition education, financial coaching, SNAP
outreach, and legislative advocacy. For more information, visit fbd.org.

501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1970 and funded by the Delaware Division of
Aging since 1973. They were the first Meals on Wheels program in the state of Delaware
delivering 16,609 meals to our homebound citizens in the first year alone. By the end of the
1970's, more than 20,000 meals per year were being distributed in Lewes and Rehoboth.
They currently have over 160 volunteers serving 300 clients in Lewes and Rehoboth
communities. They are able to deliver meals each day to those who need it most. The volunteers
currently cover seventeen delivery routes to ensure clients receive a hot meal every afternoon.
More importantly, volunteers provide daily social contact essential to the emotional wellbeing of
their clients by providing friendship, empathy, and compassion while out in the community
completing their deliveries. For details and to donate, visit their website mealsonwheels-lr.org.
