The Rehoboth, Indian River, and Little Assawoman Bays lie just behind a narrow spit of land in sight of the Atlantic Ocean. The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays’ mission is to preserve, protect, and restore Delaware’s Inland Bays and their watershed. The Center conducts public outreach and education, develops and implements restoration projects, encourages scientific inquiry, sponsors needed research, and establishes a long-term process for the protection and preservation of the watershed. Visit The Center’s website to learn about their many projects, programs, events, volunteer opportunities, resources for schools/home schooling, how to help, and much more!
