A Special, Ticketed America250 Event

The History Book Festival, the Lewes Public Library, and Browseabout Books are pleased to present this special evening with Lisa See, author of Daughters of the Sun and Moon, in observance of America250.

In Daughters of the Sun and Moon, beloved New York Times bestselling author Lisa See draws on the vibrancy and turmoil of post-Civil War Los Angeles to tell the story of three Chinese women who managed to survive, and eventually thrive, despite all odds.

The event will take place at the Cape Henlopen High School Theatre (1250 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE) at 6:00 PM on Monday, June 15, 2026.

A reservation is required to attend. Each $35 reservation includes one general admission seat and a hardcover copy of Daughters of the Sun and Moon signed by Lisa See. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Lewes Public Library and the History Book Festival – thank you!

Lisa See will speak and answer audience questions, followed by a meet and greet where she will personalize books and take photographs with attendees.

This event is ticketed and in person only: Reserve your seat today!
