Join the Seashore Striders for year #2 and the new and exciting event in Lewes, DE as the Seashore Striders are teaming up with The Open Space Alliance Campaign (osalewes.org) for a 5k Run & 1-mile “fun walk” for a great fundraising cause. The Open Space Alliance Campaign is working to maintain the Fourth St. Preserve in its natural state with public access and walking trails.
The Fourth Street Preserve is located on either side of Fourth Street and totals 30 acres of forested land. This historically rich parcel also plays a vital role in preserving Lewes’ remaining wildlife and significantly contributes to improved air quality and reduced carbon emissions. Additionally, this land plays a role in water management, acting as a vital component in safeguarding against flooding.
