Spotting Ships- Delaware’s WWII era fire control towers have become iconic landmarks along the coastline, but do you know how they were used? Join re-enactors in uniform to learn how the towers functioned and try your hand at spotting ships using the technology of Fort Miles! This free evening program will be offered one night only in anticipation of Delaware Defense Day, our biggest re-enactment event of the year! Stop by the Observation Tower in Cape Henlopen State Park on March 29th between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. for a nighttime tour of the tower, complete with the equipment of the period.
